Met Mabel at 6pm @Hereen yest....and guess wat..she really so suay...the moment she got off the bus (i was already at e bus stop), 2 guys approach us to buy some charity tickets!...i dont mind donating but the tatic they used was just so lousy!.."hi xiao jie, ni hai ji de wo ma?"!!! then mabel and i gave the 'can u pls not act shou wif us" look to him...then worse...ask wat sec sch we were from...so we 'ji tau' told him, 'sorry, we both previosly were from gals sch, so no boys existed in the sch!!'...haha!..and ya, just to get away from these 2 irritating persons, we very willingly donated the tickets and walked away...Yi Wei met us at bout 7pm & upon seing all the long queues at food outlets in Hereen, we decided to walk across to Cineleisure, The Lips Cafe............then....Lips Cafe was no longer there(didnt realise all these while)..changed to Galilee & Friends (If i m not wrong)...but more or less similar to LIps cafe.....There was this section of the menu where their dish names were all named after movies...eg. The Last Samurai, Ocean's 11 & 12, The Godfather, Finding Nemo etc....
We ordered 'Great balls on fire', 'stir-fried tom yum noodles' & 'black pepper beef noodles'....(btw, e tom yum noodles didnt even looked a single bit stir fried!!)....then we ordered drinks...(mabel took 'Go-Bananas', yi wei took 'Dinosaur' and i took 'Mango madness'....Their cup for the 'Dinosuar' was really unique...we all liked it!!(e cup).....
We sat and chatted and took pics (as usual)....after dat Yi Wei suggested going back to Mandarin's Observation Lounge to have a drink....but we were afraid there wouldnt be space or good seats, so we decided to head for Mezzanine Lounge instead (partly coz we wanted to hear the band sing)......We took a rather long time to decide wat to drink...and in e end all 3 of us ended up ordering the same drink, 'Tall M'....
Saw Andy when he came down to e lounge so chatted wif him a while....we found out quite a bit at e lounge...Mandarin was retrenching staff....starting from e management yest....and poor Alex from 333 was retrenched!!...so shocked...coz he is a realli very nice & good AM....so sad for him..they were so cruel, they didnt give advance notice, he came to work, personell told him e news so he had to go clear his locker and leave immediately!!...so BAD!!! they should at least inform earlier so ppl can get ready or start looking for another job wat...haiz....
