Feel so satisfied with myself today. =P
I tot i didnt have the time to DIY anything for Valentines Day this year coz i was so busy. But in the end, i managed to.....bake some cookies! May not seem a big deal but this is my very very first time i am baking cookies ok!
Luckily i had my baking mentor, liying over at my place to guide me today..haha!..=D
we had some trouble converting the measuraments initialy (it was a bit of maths here), but luckily my mum managed to find her measuring spoons and cup for us, so it saved us the trouble.
We both felt that there were many ways the baking could go wrong, coz i dun have an oven, so i used the toaster-oven, we were supposed to use some 'shortenning; thing but we replaced it with butter, and we were supposed to mix the mixture for 1-2mins till it becomes creamy but it was like ages before we were anywhere near creamy.. and the funny thing was..the receipe said chocolate chips and walnut, so we bought them but there was totally no mention about wat to do wif the chocolate chips and walnut..so we just happily added them into the mixture at e last part..
But in the end the mixture turned out well and it smelled so good, so we got down to trial and error wif the toaster..Initially we couldnt understand why the cookies were burned but still soft in the middle, and then we realised that we forgot we were actually doing a 'brownie'cookie' receipe..
oops!Ya, i did the
'Dropped Brownie Chews' cookie..=P
and so after, we were more expert at it and it so we tried out shapes and sizes and all sorts..,.
I must say the cookies turned out better than i expected..so happy wif it!=P
This is the biggest heart-shaped cookie we did..
