Oh man!..It was a busy day yesterday..just when i tot i could finally catch some good sleep on sat, i had to wake up early for a meeting...
The meeting was for the leaders of 2 buddhist youth groups to meet up..it was supposed to be a casual meeting where we get to noe each other and the groups we represent dats all..(and possibly help each other along the way in the future, but its like more of we had to learn from them coz we are still a newly formed group with 3 yrs history and still in the foundation stage..while they had 10 years of history wif bout 200 members to date..)
Met at TM Mac and surprisingly wilson was there already..then slowly the others arrived so we had 4 from YBC and 4 from SBMY then the introduction began and namecard exchanging went on..
They did a presentation to us on their group and their camp activities and community service activities and all..we didnt have our presentation slides wif us coz we tot it was just gonna be a casual meeting, but they assured us it was a casual meeting just dat since they had their slides wif them so they might as well show it to us..
I was in fact glad they showed it to us coz there was plenty we still had to learn from them and the style used to run the group and camps was very very similar to ours where fun is incorporated into Buddhism as well, so dats where e 2 groups can connect better ...
So we decided to try out where we will get our youths and their youths to come together for a bonding session next month and see how everything goes from there..
After this meeting, we were supoosed to go back to BBT for our own meeting but since it was early, wilson, chin ee, adelina and i decided to head for Kbox lunch..(the food SUCKS totally man! if not for e singing i would have left) Sang till 2pm before rushing off to BBT..and the meeting lasted till bout 6.30pm..
Then i had to rush down to PS to meet my family for dinner.. My mum was giving a combined treat for my sis's birthday and also to congratulate her for doing so well for her 'O's..but she really deserves it, she did awesomely well!!
