Had a great time with OBians from 02-04 Nov. Meiqi had a complimentry stay at her workplace, the Carribean, so she invited all of us for the weekend. It was actually a service apartment with a personalised lift, meaning no one except us can access the lift to the unit, which also means its safe to leave the door ajar.
We love the apartment so much, it was fully furnished just like any home. It really just feels like home and it was very cozy. There's the living room, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, a utility room, washing machine and even a dryer! i tell you, we really made full use of the kitchen. We didnt have to call for any delivery service, we prepared our own brunch and dinner/supper.
It really feels like home coz in the day as some of them had to go to sch and work and they'll return to the apartment again after that. As for mq and i, we were very free so after the rest left, we headed for town too.
Had some games and drinking on friday nite, and we watched 'staying alive' till like 3+am...
Sat, everyone left for sch and work, mq and i headed to town, Ly joined us after her meeting in the afternoon and we went grocery shopping at carrefour..by the time dinner was prepared and we were done with dinner , jim and fen returned too so they had supper..
Sunday was purely a day for relaxation. Had sunday brunch and spend the whole afternoon playing monopoly and uno. Its been ages since i last touched monopoly and it was fun!!!
though it was only 3 days but at least i get to experience the feeling of 'moving out' to live with my friends..I miss that cozy home!!!
How can one refuse to live in such an apartment???
Mq seems like the only one who is very serious about the bdae wish..fen seems like she totally cant be bothered. At least i did attempt to make a wish...haha!!
